How to care for your Sweet Basil.

Now that you brought it home, how do you keep it fresh? Many people are tempted to transplant their basil. Because the basil is grown hydroponically and stored in water from the greenhouse transplanting usually shocks the plant. The best way to keep it is to store it in the bag it came in, folding over the top and setting it on your kitchen counter. Refrigeration is not recommended. After a few days you can snip off the roots and hang the remaining basil to dry out the leaves.
